This ministry was put on hold due to COVID restrictions. As with our Justice and Ministry Connections, FCCF will reinstate our ministry with Immigrant Welcoming as we return to more regular church programming.
The church has an important role in the immigration discussion. Our faith tradition and sacred texts are saturated with stories about immigrants. We have a special ability and calling to reach out and love the neighbor—all of our neighbors. But it takes education, face to face encounters, and an
effort to engage the sensibilities of our faith.
We are proud to partner with El Pueblo de Flagstaff, a grassroots immigrant advocacy group that works in the following areas:
- Mutual Aid
- Rapid response and Community Defense
- Sanctuary Support Network and Deportation Defense
- Know Your Rights Trainings
